Here is the next project AB Homes is working on. This is a 90% tear down.
Most of the foundation walls will remain. The footprint will be extending back and to the side. The existing basement will be dug down and underpinned to match the 8′ ceiling height of the additional basement.
This is going to be a nice project. Great home owner, great location, great beginning.

This Burlington Home Renovation is complete.
The transformation of the home is incredible.
This project was a challenge but the result was well worth the effort.
The owners love driving up to their newly renovated home.

The transformation is almost complete. The next step is the cedar shake on the two gables and that finishes the wood siding. The home owner has requested us to build three new posts on top of the front overhanging deck as the old ones did not live up to the homes new style.

The trim on the house is now installed and painted. The siding is underway. This Burlington House Renovation is in the last phase of completion. The home owners are loving the look of their revitalized home.

The stone is complete. The difference from the original house is amazing with the new stone alone. The rebuilt front porch is being recovered with new beams, cedar tongue and groove ceiling and trim. Once the trim on the house is complete the Maibec wood siding will begin.

The house is wrapped in Tyvek air and moisture barrier. Strapping is 90% done, ready for the Maibec wood siding. The new cedar garage doors are installed.

The porch was rebuilt after discovering some rot from not being properly waterproofed when it was originally built. The porch is being covered by Duradek for a smooth easy to clean surface. The next step is the stone wainscoting. The ‘Castle Stone – Morning mist’ from Canyon Stone Canada will add a distinctive elegance to this house which it did not have before.
